Upsell
Rates - When requesting All-Star Resorts, some people were told that these were
all booked. This then triggered the Cast Members screen to pop up an
upsell rate (you can also request an upsell rate - sometimes this works).
This is a discounted rate off a moderate resort and are generally only offered
when the budget resorts are filled to capacity and the moderates are still
unbooked.
Discounts: Teachers and Nurses -- Place of employment ID or pay stub to be
presented at Check-in
Government -- Eligible employees are U.S. Federal and State
employees, National Government employees, active military personnel,
Amtrak employees, and Canadian Provincial employees. The guest will
be required to provide
government or military ID supporting this at check-in.

Swan and Dolphin
Resort - Entertainment Book discount Sometimes available, the
Entertainment Book rate is 50% off the "rack rates" at the Swan
and Dolphin resorts. You do not need so show a coupon from the book, but
you will have to show your Entertainment card at check-in. Any current
Entertainment card will work at check-in, including the card issued to
members of the Disney Club, which has an Entertainment logo on the back.

AAA
- These rates are 10% - 20%, depending on the
dates. Swan and Dolphin resorts are about 25% off with AAA, as are the
Fort Wilderness homes and cabins.
Sometimes the Swan and Dolphin Resorts offer discounts of up to 50% to AAA
members. Be sure to ask if you are booking either of these
resorts.
Military discounts - Room rates are determined by military grade and apply to both active
and retired military personnel and Department of Defense civilians.
Pay grade verification is required at check-in. Valid military ID or
current LES is accepted as verification.
Navy Times - Active-duty, National Guard,
Reserve, and retired military
personnel who don’t live close to a military base can get mail-order
discount tickets to Disney World.
The discounts vary depending on the ticket you buy, said Christine
DeMichael, a spokeswoman for Disney Military Sales, which has offered
discounted tickets to military families for more than 20 years at ticket
and tours offices on military bases. A $12 service charge applies.
Officials said this new option is for those who may not live near an
installation.

Active Duty and Retired Military with proper ID get 40% off regular
rates at the official Disney World resort hotels for the
following check-in dates: 10/21/07-11/3/07, 11/11/07-11/17/07 and
12/9/07-12/15/07. Limited availability - not all resorts will be
available on all of these dates. Use code FFR.
Airline Employee Discount
- Sometimes airline employees can get discounts of up to 50% off rack
rates at the Disney Resorts. You must show appropriate ID at
check-in.
Hot
Wire Savings Club- This membership only club has a 30 day free trial
period. If you continue your membership it is $7.95 per month. Many
discounts are offered--for example movie tickets for $4.50. Save up to
15% on WDW and other theme park tickets. In addition, Quick and Casual
Vouchers for WDW are available for $11.50. With the voucher you pick a
drink, lunch item and dessert. Depending on where you eat the savings
can be substantial. For example-at Beaches and Cream, a milk shake,
tenderloin sandwich and a sundae would be $21.98 plus tax and tip.
With the Q&C Voucher-$11.50 plus tip. (Not sure if you are taxed.)
Orlando
Magicard- up to $500 in savings in the Orlando area. Go to this
website and register, or call 1-800-643-9492. This card is free and each
card can be used for groups of up to 6 people. It offers 10-20% hotel
savings, 10-15% discounts on car rentals, and discounts on admissions to
Orlando-area attractions and restaurants, including Sea World, Universal
Studios, Wet & Wild, and Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament.
Disney Water Parks Discounts: Often Disney will run a special where you can purchase
a second water park one day pass for 1/2 price with the purchase of the first
one-day water park pass. If this is something you are interested in, be
sure to ask when purchasing your tickets. Sometimes during the summer months or when the water parks are open
late, they offer "twilight prices" for those arriving after about 3
pm. These discounts can be as high as 30 to 50% off the regular price.
These specials are not announced, so be sure to ask.
Pleasure
Island - for Cast Members, Monday and Thursdays nights you can get in
free. Non-Cast Members - take note: Thursday nights can get really
crowded. Plan accordingly.
