A Special Pirates Package:

Disney is presenting a special Pirates of the Caribbean package to coincide with the opening of the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. "Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End".

Event: Pirates of the Caribbean: Adventures on the 7 Seas Lagoon Event Dates: May 22-25, 2007 Event Location: DISNEY'S CONTEMPORARY Resort "Ahoy Me Hearties – On May 22, 2007, prepare yourselves for a three-day adventure unlike any that has been seen this side of the 7 Seas Lagoon.

Set yer' compass towards uncharted territories and brace the helm as ye'

journey into the unknown

depths of the sea. Be on the look out for the Pirates of the Caribbean and the surprises and thrills that are lurking behind the dark and dreary coves of the Lagoon.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is the third part of the trilogy initiated by the 2003 film Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and followed by the 2006 film Dead Man's Chest. At World's End is directed by Gore Verbinski, the director of the previous two films. The film's cast includes returnees Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley, Orlando Bloom, Bill Nighy, Geoffrey Rush, and Jack Davenport.

Chow Yun-Fat makes his first appearance in the franchise as the film's antagonist.

Disney has announced a global release date of May 25, 2007.


Pirates of the Caribbean - Updates to the Ride

  • Captain Jack's joined the crew! Get ready to set sail on this boisterous journey to discover Captain Jack and his nemesis Barbossa interacting with some of your favorite Audio-Animatronics® buccaneers and adding a terrific twist 
    to the classic adventure — along with new special effects.

  • This attraction interacts with Pal Mickey.

  • Handheld Captioning is available at this attraction. This portable captioning system uses a wireless handheld receiver to display text in locations where fixed captioning systems are impractical, such as moving attractions. Receivers are available through Guest Relations and require a $100 refundable deposit (must return item on the same day for refund).
  • Here are the song's opening lyrics:

Pirate Treasure Hunt Cruise

  • Grand Floridian Resort

    Two Treasure Hunts Weekly

    Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.

    The object is to find the buried treasure the resort beach around the Lagoon - kids are given clues and a treasure map.  A credit card must be used to guarantee your reservation.  There is a 24-hour cancellation policy.  15 children maximum.  

    Hosted by Pirates trained in Water Life Saving.  Children get a bandanna, an ice cream snack, and a portion of the found treasure, as well as lunch, consisting of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, gummy bears, juice box and Krispie Treat.  

    For kids ages 4 to 12 years (must be potty trained) - adults can not stay with the kids.  Cost is $28.17 per child, plus tax.  This can be booked up to 180 days in advance.  Call 407-WDW-DINE.  Meet 15 minutes prior at the Grand Floridian marina.
