services are no longer offered at the Luau Cove at Disney's Polynesian
Resort as of August 11, 2002.
The Stave Church, Norway, Epcot
The Walt Disney World Resort will host religious
services on Christmas Day, December 25, in the Fantasia Ballroom of
Disney's Contemporary Resort. Catholic Mass will be held at 8 and
10:15 a.m.. Protestant Service will be held at 9 a.m.
Catholic Mass:
Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine. 8300 Vineland Ave. This
is 2 1/2 miles north of Lake Buena Vista. The church seats
2000 people, has gardens, fountains and a large gift shop. Call
407-239-6600 for Mass times.
Jewish:
Reform services are held at the Congregation of Liberal
Judaism at 928 Malone Drive, Orlando. 407-645-0444. This is
near Winter Park, about 20 miles from Walt Disney World.
Conservative services are held at Temple Ohalei Rivka, also
known as the Southwest Orlando Jewish Congregation. 11200
Apopka-Vineland Road. 407-239-5444. This is about 3 miles from
Walt Disney World.
Muslim:
Prayer takes place five times a day at Jama Masijid, 11543 Ruby Lake
Road. Call 407-238-2700 for more information.
